FixMyPrintFile could just as easily be named “Print-Ready-PDFs-For-Dummies”. Our interest in FixMyPrintFile stems from a notable number of incompatible PDFs we receive from our commercial print customers. As a small, family-owned publishing company, we have limited resources to attack challenging files; it’s hard to justify buying expensive preflight software packages, which have steep learning curves and require advanced knowledge of PDF attributes. There aren’t many no-brainers, but this service seems to be one of them. It’s fast, easy-to-use, and very cost effective for small and medium size publishers. I would absolutely recommend it.
